Role overview

The British Council is seeking for Human Resources Executive to be part of the team in an innovative and growing business area based in our Hanoi office.  

The Human Resources (HR) function in Vietnam is led by the Country Human Resources Manager, and it mainly consists of a Country Human Resources Manager and one Human Resources Officer. The wider HR function includes one Teaching Centre Human Resources Executive, Hanoi (60 per cent HR; 40 per cent Teaching Centre Admin); one HCMC Resources Manager (15 per cent HR for HCMC); one Teaching Centre Human Resources Operations Manager, HCMC (40 per cent  HR; 60 per cent Teaching Centre operations); one Teaching Cemtre HR Executive, HCMC (50 per cent HR; 50 per cent Teaching Centre Admin). 

As the Human Resources Executive, you will ensure HR administration and services are provided in line with on-going HR activities of the British Council in Vietnam as well as the standard HR practices.  

The main responsibilities are, but not limit to: 

  • payroll
  • HR database
  • HR support to the Country Human Resources Manager
  • HR coordination to Hanoi Office
  • others

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate strong evidence of behaviours and similar experience: 

As the ideal candidate, you will possess a Degree in business field with minimum two to three years’ experience in handling payroll and HR support services in a multi-cultural environment.
