Senior Teaching Assistant in HCMC
The British Council Teaching Centre Team in HCMC is seeking suitable candidates for the post of Senior Teaching Assistant. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with our teachers, supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom, managing teaching assistants’ performance. As well as a pastoral role, they may also perform various administration tasks for the Teaching Centre.

Role overview
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum one year experience as a teaching assistant
- Good level of English and Vietnamese (IELTS 6.0 /Upper Intermediate and above)
- Patient, responsible and interested in the welfare of the children
- Responsibly manage the overall facility
- Detail-focused and customer-oriented
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer)
- Fresh level for leadership characteristic
- Being able to prove able to prove that he/she has no civil or criminal records of any nature relating to any allegation concerning any type of harm to a child or children.
TERM OF SERVICE
This is a non-employment position and a term-based hourly paid contract. Gross wages: in local currency is equal to US$3 per hour, together with experience of a dynamic working environment, training and development opportunities, and skills to be leader.
