Congratulate partnership projects under the Going Global Partnerships (GGP): UK–Viet Nam Partnerships for Quality and Internationalisation programme in Viet Nam.
2021–2024: eight partnership projects focusing on three main priorities for higher education in both countries:
- University leadership and governance, Higher Education leadership for social inclusion and gender equality.
- Preparing Viet Nam Higher Education qualifications for future development of Trans-national education (TNE) and International recognition.
- Toward excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and knowledge transfer.
2022–2025: three partnership projects focusing on digital transformation in higher education.
2022–2023: three partnership projects focusing on gender equality in higher education.
2023: nine projects under the UK/ Viet Nam Season programme focusing on climate change and shared heritage.
2024–2025: three projects focusing on embedding gender equality in training curricula for pedagogical universities.
2025-2026: 14 projects form a UK-VN Higher Education Consortium who have shared vision and interest in setting up Talent programmes in identified subject areas, including: Advanced manufacturing, Digital and Technology, Clean Energy and Life Sciences; developing research and innovation collaboration, student and staff mobility. Year 1 outcomes will shape programme delivery for Years 2–4 to successfully develop Talent programmes and contributing to the establishment of Centres of Excellence in these priority areas in the longer run.
