The British Council proudly administers UK International School Qualification exams on behalf of Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, and Oxford AQA.

Registering for your exams with the British Council is a vital step toward earning respected international qualifications and unlocking access to world-class universities and global career pathways.

There are two opportunities to sit a school exam every year.

  • IGCSE, O Level and AS/A Level Examinations with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) take place in May/June and October/November.
  • IGCSE and IAL Examinations with Pearson Edexcel take place in May/June and October/November.

You can pay for your examination in one of the following ways:

Pay at a British Council office

You can pay by credit card at British Council offices in both cities

  • Hanoi: 3rd Floor, Lancaster Luminaire Building, 1152 Lang Road, Lang Ward
  • HCMC: 1st floor, Viettel Complex Building, 285 Cach Mang Thang Tam Road, Hoa Hung Ward.

Pay via bank transfer

Make a bank transfer to the following account and send your evidence of payment to British Council via exams.hanoi@britishcouncil.org.vn for Hanoi candidates or exams.hcmc@britishcouncil.org.vn for HCMC candidates. 

Your booking will be processed within three working days of British Council receiving your test application and test fee.

Please noted that Instant money transfer service at some banks has not been available for Citibank.

Special Arrangements

If you need special arrangements during your examinations you must submit a recent medical report along with your application form. The medical report must specify what arrangements you will need for your examinations and must be submitted at least two months before the start of the examination session.
