FAMLAB Fund provides grants packages to projects that seek to engage with Vietnamese music and film heritage through contemporary mediums. The Fund is open to Vietnam and UK-based practitioners, initiatives and organisations of any creative or artistic discipline that can deliver long-term benefits for communities across cultural heritage and contemporary art forms, and demonstrate innovative new ways of interacting with audiences including:
- creation and presentation of music, film, video or cross-disciplinary works using music, film or video elements
- projects that work with the management, development and promotion of music and film archives
- research and publications to contribute towards further growth or sustainability in this area.
There are four opportunities to apply for funding between September 2018 and August 2019:
Round 1 – Deadline for submission of applications: 15 October 2018
Round 2 – 15 December 2018
Round 3 – 15 May 2019
Round 4 – 15 August 2019
