As the new school year approaches, the British Council is proud to launch the British Council Study Award 2025 for the first time, offering young Vietnamese learners the chance to improve their English skills and experience international learning environments.

This year, 10 full scholarships will be awarded to the most promising students — even if their English proficiency is not yet strong. What matters most is their motivation to learn and passion for the English language. This is also a wonderful opportunity for your child to become a British Council ambassador and a source of pride for your family!

1. Eligibility

The program is open to students aged 6 and above, currently enrolled in primary, lower secondary, or upper secondary school, and residing in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.

For younger applicants who may not be able to write their own submissions, parents or guardians are welcome to apply on their behalf.

2. Scholarship Details

Each of the 10 winners will receive a full scholarship for a 64-hour English course at one of the British Council teaching centres in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.
