Viet Nam – DH Technology & Education Company Limited (DHTE) and the British Council today announced a partnership to launch the AI-Powered English Ecosystem in Viet Nam. Developed by DHTE and integrating AI-powered products developed by the British Council, the AI-Powered English Ecosystem brings together international educational expertise, innovative technology and curriculum-aligned content to support better English learning outcomes at scale.
Building on solutions developed by the British Council, and under the academic and technical guidance of Professor Doctor of Science Nguyen Dinh Duc, former Chairman of the University Council of the VNU University of Engineering and Technology, DHTE has successfully developed an AI-Powered English Ecosystem, integrating artificial intelligence into English language learning and teaching in Viet Nam. Through this platform, students can learn, practise and assess their English with AI-supported tools while receiving personalised feedback throughout their learning journey. Learning outcomes and progress data are consolidated and reported through the platform, enabling teachers and schools to track progress, identify individual learning needs and enhance teaching effectiveness.

The launch of AI-powered English learning and teaching solutions developed through the partnership between DHTE and the British Council contributes to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science, technology and innovation, as well as Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on higher education reform. The collaboration also reflects efforts to strengthen university-industry partnerships in addressing practical educational needs, while supporting improvements in English language teaching and learning and the national vision of expanding the use of English as a second language in schools across Viet Nam.
In the initial phase of implementation in Viet Nam, DHTE and the British Council are introducing two products: AiBC and IELTS Ready practice tests.
AiBC: Building students’ skills and confidence in English speaking and writing
Developing speaking and writing skills remains a key area of focus for schools seeking to improve English language outcomes. This creates demand for solutions that provide students with more opportunities to use English while helping teachers monitor and assess learner progress more effectively.
Developed by the British Council, AiBC uses AI-enabled technology to deliver curriculum-linked tasks and personalised feedback, helping students develop their English speaking and writing skills through regular and structured practice.
In Viet Nam, AiBC tasks are aligned to curriculum themes and Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) progression targets of two speaking tasks and one writing task per unit of the coursebook, enabling sustained skills development throughout the academic year.

Learners preparing for IELTS and pursuing academic goals in Viet Nam and internationally need reliable assessment tools to identify their current proficiency level, track progress and build an effective preparation plan.
IELTS Ready practice tests offer an exam-aligned practice experience while providing detailed performance analysis and feedback to support effective preparation.
Key features of IELTS Ready practice tests include:
- Exam-aligned practice: Mock tests mirror the format, structure and timing of the IELTS exam through an authentic computer-based testing interface, helping students build familiarity with the test experience and gain confidence before test day.
- Predicted band scores: Students receive a predicted band score for each skill, helping them benchmark their current level and monitor progress towards their target IELTS outcomes.
- Detailed AI-enabled feedback: Personalised feedback and in-depth performance analysis, highlighting strengths, common mistakes and areas for improvement. For Listening and Reading, the system explains correct and incorrect answers, offers insights into question-solving strategies and provides guidance on approaching different task types. For Speaking and Writing, feedback is aligned with the official IELTS band descriptors, helping learners understand their current performance and identify the steps needed to improve their scores.
Through IELTS Ready practice tests, learners can gain an objective understanding of their proficiency, identify priority areas for improvement and develop a preparation plan tailored to their IELTS targets.
Looking ahead, DHTE and the British Council will continue to expand the AI-Powered English Ecosystem with additional English learning, test preparation and assessment solutions designed for a wide range of learner groups. Together, the two organisations aim to broaden access to high-quality English language solutions and support the continued improvement of English teaching and learning in Viet Nam.
