The British Council Education Team in Hanoi is seeking a suitable candidate for the post of Project Manager, ISPF (part-time role). Successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) programme in Viet Nam.

Role overview
Relationship & Stakeholder management
- Have strong internal and external relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders within the country and is able to procure services and manage contracts with delivery partners.
Commercial and Financial Management
- Ensure sound financial planning by working closely with finance teams to keep British Council and client financial year plans up to date.
- Lead on British Council, partner, or client reporting (including financial reporting with the Finance Manager).
- Ensure compliance with British Council financial policies and procedures.
Project Management
- Contribute to the development of, own, and deliver the Project Management Plan.
- Manage internal and client procurement, contracting, data management, compliance, and reporting.
- Plan and deliver in-country activities that support the project's outcomes.
- Contribute to an impactful communication plan that supports the positioning of ISPF with stakeholders.

Role-specific Skills:
- Understanding of procurement, financial, and reporting requirements of projects.
- Able to manage the delivery of face-to-face and/or digital activities on basic platforms (Microsoft Teams).
- Motivation and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and anti-racism.
Role-specific Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in managing projects from start to finish, with familiarity across the project life cycle.
- Experience working in project or programme management.
- Confident in using office tools (Word; Excel; PowerPoint), Microsoft 365 functionality, and having knowledge of the British Council SAP system (or similar software).
Term of service
This is a non-employment position with a term-based contract. Gross wages: VND1,748,898 per day, together with experience in a dynamic working environment and career development opportunities.
