Role overview

Context and Environment:

British Council Services for International Education Marketing (BC SIEM) is a new project based upon a regional model of services delivery for UK clients with clear financial and delivery targets based around five core services. It supports the positioning of the British Council as a global partner of choice for UK clients.

Purpose of Job:

The incumbant will deliver services under BC SIEM service and other promotion activities to promote UK education to Vietnamese prospective students in the south of Vietnam focusing on key cities such as HCMC, Can Tho, Vung Tau, etc.

Key responsibilities and main duties include:

  • deliver marketing events for UK clients
  • deliver Exhibition activities
  • deliver activities of BC SIEM Professional training and Development services
  • deliver PR and marketing activities to promote UK education to prospective customers
  • deliver activities under BC SIEM Partnering and Consultancy services for UK clients
  • deliver Trans-national education (TNE) services and other development activities
  • implement general administration tasks for BC SIEM team and wider British Council HCMC

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong evidence of behaviours and similar experience, including:

  • bachelor degree
  • good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese (all four skills, including translation and interpretation skills)
  • proven event organisation skill
  • proven PR and Marketing knowledge and skill
  • proven customer service skill
  • other competencies and behaviours in the Role Profile
