ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
The Arts and Creative Industries team work to strengthen collaboration between the arts and creative sectors in the UK and Vietnam. We aim to develop long term UK–Vietnam partnerships through sustainable projects; and to harness the value of the arts and creative sector that contributes to the development of a more open, prosperous, creative, and inclusive society in Vietnam. We will build a friendly knowledge and understanding between the UK and Vietnam through collaborations in the arts and creative industries.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
The post holder plays a supporting role in the Arts and Creative Industries Team, working closely with the Arts Officer, Arts Managers as well as team members and colleagues from other units. In addition, he/she will work with different external counterparts, including but not limited to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnamese and international cultural organisations and institutions, embassies, service and goods suppliers.
WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT
You will have opportunities to develop an understanding of work in international cultural relations, especially between the UK and Vietnam, and to acquire practical skill sets necessary for the management of the arts and creative industries.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should have bachelor’s degree from relevant fields such as arts, culture, business administration, international relations, English, and other social sciences with minimum one-year proven experience in supporting role for teams/projects and in general administration.
