Role overview

Vietnam operation

The British Council has been present in Vietnam for over 20 years. We have centres in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City providing Vietnamese people with training in English language, social innovation and the creative industries, access to UK examinations and qualifications, and opportunities to experience the best of UK arts and culture. We work closely with the Ministry of Education and Training to share UK expertise in support of the Vietnamese government’s Human Resource Development strategy, 2020 Foreign Languages strategy and education reform programmes.

The British Council teaching centres have been identified for ambitious expansion plans over the next three to five years and delivering the volume growth in sales required by these plans will be a critical task for the centres.

The Teaching Centre (TC) team consists of back office operations management, front line sales, telesales and customer management, teachers, managers, business development and marketing colleagues.   As a close knit team, duties can consist of assistance in any or all the above areas (except teaching).

The role

We are recruiting an Admin Executive to provide quality administration support to the British Council Teaching Centre’s operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of full time administration/support experience in the service industry. Administrative experience in the education industry is ideal.
